Half of sales, and 100% of final bids will go to support the Vesper Meadow Education Program. Thanks to the artists for their generous donations of time, work, and creativity, and to the good folks at Gambrel Gallery for supporting this exhibit.

Life Transforms: Art of Vesper Meadow
Imagine humans living in reciprocity with nature, and the mutual transformations that result. If we allow ourselves to understand humans as a connected part of nature, treating all life as though it is our own, then we will have a positive impact on the world.
Vesper Meadow’s programs demonstrate biocultural restoration at the Vesper Meadow Restoration Preserve; engaging a diverse community in land stewardship and scientific monitoring, producing education materials and sharing our inspiration through art. Core to our beliefs is that ecological restoration is synonymous with cultural revival — our work to improve ecosystem function and wildlife habitat is one-in-the-same with reducing the adverse effects of settler-colonization on the land and supporting Indigenous-led efforts.
We recognize the people of the land: Latgawa, Takelma, Shasta, and Klamath, and also the legacy of Federally sponsored genocide and forced removal. Many of these people are now members of the Confederated Tribes of Siletz and Confederated Tribes of Grand Ronde. We are partnering with members of these Tribes to support their self-identified goals for First Food restoration, education, and connection with land.
Since the inception of the Vesper Meadow Restoration Preserve and Education Program in 2018, we envisioned our ecological restoration work to be shared to wider audiences through art. We believe that artists are vital thinkers, storytellers, and agents of change in our society. In the last three years, artists have partnered with us for the inspiration of place, connection with the community of land stewardship, and to share teachings with students.
We are honored to share the story of Vesper Meadow with the support and creative lens of the art community. Learn more and connect with us at VesperMeadow.org
